What is fraggle rock the animated series?

Fraggle Rock is not an animated series, it is a live-action puppet show created by Jim Henson in 1983. However, there was an animated spin-off series called "Fraggle Rock: The Animated Series" that ran from 1987-1988. It featured the same characters as the original show (Fraggles, Doozers, and Gorgs) but used animation instead of puppetry. The series followed the adventures of the Fraggle Five (Gobo, Mokey, Red, Wembley, and Boober) as they explored new places in Fraggle Rock and interacted with the other creatures that lived there.
